Privacy Policy
Puzzle Gazette is a picture puzzle game. We built it so that it does not collect, store or share any information about you.
What we collect
Nothing. The game has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It does not use your location, contacts, camera or microphone, and it only sees a photo if you pick one yourself (see below).
What stays on your device
The game saves your progress on your own device: finished puzzles, stamps, hints, your streak, your settings and the name you type on your press pass. This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the game deletes it.
Your photo (optional)
On iPhone you can choose a photo for your press pass. The game opens the system photo picker, makes a small cropped copy of the one picture you choose, and keeps that copy only on your device. It never sees the rest of your library and never uploads the photo. You can switch back to a drawn portrait at any time.
Links
Settings contains links to this page, our terms and our art credits. Opening a link uses your web browser, which has its own privacy policy.
Children
Because the game collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Changes
If a future version adds anything that collects data (for example optional ads), we will update this policy before that version is released and describe exactly what is collected and why.
Contact
A contact address will be listed here before the app is released in the stores.
